On Saturday (28th Sept) Lucy and I went to Pattingham Scarecrow Festival
Pattingham is a village about 5 miles away from us and over 100 people had made scarecrows that they had put in their gardens, around the village and in the church, organised by the St. Chad’s the village church.
OMG it was simply wonderful and you just couldn’t help smiling at every turn, as you just didn’t know what you would see next.
It cost us £2 each to go round and there was a quiz for the children to do about various scarecrows along the way.
I am now desperate to make one too, so I am thinking about asking my friend if I could make her one by proxy next time they do it!
I took so many pictures, it’s a shame not to share them …. so I have put together a couple more posts to fill up a few of my blank days and hopefully bring a smile to your day too.
